Theyre not listed on the right, but were playing with a band called I Love You from Missouri this weekend.
On Friday they play at midnight at Cheer Up Charlies and Spiked Punch plays after them. We are inside, there are other good bands that play outside before.
The flier for Saturday looks like this:
Also, lets here it for The Club 1808 Double-Elimination Battle Of The Bands goin down in a couple weeks. The drawing for slots and festivities start at 8 PM on Friday June 11th, with bands starting at 9 PM. I think there is gonna be an ultra-happy hour at that time. Then Saturday night we take a hot and heavy break for DJ Battles, and Sunday would of course be The Finals. $5 wristband good for all 3 days.
this must be the place....goin strong , yeah baby!!!

Flying Turns at Cheer Up Charlies

The post office just called to let us know that your Netflix won't be in this Thursday. So we're throwing an underground-disco party at Cheer-up Charlie's so that you suckers will have something to do before the weekend begins. And we know what you're thinking when we say 'disco'--if we play any Village People then you're free to come throw your drinks at us (as long as you tip your bartender).
We're bringing our crew to keep you dancing and drinking until your legs and lips fall off. DJsG&B, J Edgar Groover, Phillip Bluntly, and DJ Mike ZZ TopofthePops will turn you out, so come early and stay late for an evening of genre-smashing electronic music that totally beats Netflix-Instanting Starship Troopers just for that Felicity co-ed shower scene.
And, I made a little mix for the occasion, hope you enjoy it.

Mothafucka i'm ill
I usually hate on Traktor, mainly because it's the DJ software that doesn't require peripheral hardware and therefore can easily be pirated by anybody whose peers deem cool enough to get tapped as a DJ, but don't want to put in the effort/money to actually learn how it's done. That said, Craze totally kills it on their controller.
BONUS:
Dude juggles with his elbows better than 99% of DJs do on their best behavior.

Still wrecking the Nintendo
Muchas gracias to DJ Dagnabbit for the charitable donation to science.
For the technical:
It's a vintage NES console modified to have (pseudo)stereo output, in which the square channels (2 of them) come out one output and the rest (3 of em) come out the other output. It allows you to mix the sounds a bit...helps with multitracking.
The video is the Midines in NESFX mode, outputting graphic routines for any sequence being sent to it, in this case the music you are hearing.

Stephy B Theme
Hey there faithful Ranchers. Here's a short track I made for my friend Stephy B's radio show on KAOS. It's meant as an intro to be talked over for a minute or so before her regularly scheduled programming. Not sure she's using it every week, but I think it's a dope beat so I thought I'd share it.
